The Role of Music In Romance

Music… Have you ever thought of the role music plays in your life and what is it about music that melts hearts and brings people together in celebration?
You can ask anyone what their favorite songs are and regardless of age, gender, cultural background or social status you’ll always get an answer. Indeed, music plays a large part in both courtship and activities that promote social unity across multiple cultures and geographies.
Even the scientists have given attention to such a topic as “The Role of Music in Romance”. The conclusion is the following: skills like musical ability are an attraction mechanism.
But what about musical taste and compatibility? He prefers Billie Joe Armstrong to Billie Holiday whereas she’d rather laugh with Jack Black than rock with Jack White! Can these two people stay tuned to the same station, or will their different musical interests introduce too much tension?
Psychologists say: ”Sharing a similar approach to processing new information will likely prove much more important to long-term satisfaction than whether the specific foci of interests are similar”. In other words if your Beatles-loving girlfriend doesn’t like the new Coldplay album then as long as you share the same general interest in music and the desire to learn, in this case both your relationship and music collection will be enriched.
No one will deny that music is just another language and is used to communicate interest during courtship, equal to verbal and nonverbal communication. It is a powerful tool to put words and sounds to our own emotions and allows us to understand how each other is thinking or feeling.

Long distance relationships - can they work?

Do you think that long distance relationships can work out?? Keeping a relationship alive across the miles is no easy task. You can get to know someone over the phone and Internet, but there are too many gaps that can only be filled by face to face interaction; and over an extended period. We are very attracted to each other and feel we are compatible, but how do you relocate across the country for a "maybe”. Long distance relationships are becoming more common as people travel far away for work, study, or reasons beyond their control.

Men and women have an equally hard time dealing with the separation that’s involved in a long-distance relationship.

COMMUNICATION is the key. Successful long distance relationships require daily interaction and sharing (the 'relating' to each other bit). Phones, email, texting, postal mail, and web cams... you must use them all. . Let them know about what you've been doing and thinking because in that way they will feel like they are there with you. But remember : missing a day does not indicate relationships’ jeopardy. Discuss your communication needs and limits. It's likely that one partner will need more communication more than the other. Get ready to be flexible.

Be honest. The best way to true intimacy and connection especially in a long distance relationship is through "total honesty" to each other in the fullest sense of the words. It goes without say that telling your whole truth can be difficult and even scary, but it will result in the kind of relationship that you really want-- a relationship where all the cards are laid in the table. Learn to trust your partner unconditionally. Trust is a very fundamental aspect in any relationship. That is because having trust in a relationship takes away doubt. All romantic relationships can experience jealousy and fears about cheating, but generally long distance relationships take longer to resolve those feelings. Maintain your own high self-esteem and high self-worth. Keep doing the things that you enjoy doing. You are a valuable, attractive, interesting person.

Becoming The Perfect Guy In Her Eyes.

Becoming The Perfect Guy In Her Eyes.

One of the popular methods of attracting a woman is to become the “Perfect Guy”.

Ask her what the man of her dreams looks like. If she thinks that you will help her to find this perfect guy, then she will be willing to share her ideal guy with you. Ask her to describe his clothes, hair, voice, body and what he would say and do and importantly how she wants for him to make her feel.

Your job is to ask her questions which will get her to describe exactly what she wants and expects from her ideal man. Talking about this perfect man will make her feel comforted and happy....
